Hi there!
If you’re reading my thoughts, you probably would like to know a little bit about who I am.  Right?  So, here goes…

I am a child of God.  I believe that God sent His Son (Jesus) to die on a cross to take the penalty of my sins so that I can experience His love and live eternally with Him.  I believe that God loves each and every one of us.  I love God.
I am daughter to an amazing mother, stepfather, father, and stepmother.  I am a sister to two wonderful ladies (Shana and Rachel), a stepsister to four ladies and three men, and a half-sister to one lady.  I am a grandchild to the sweetest grandparents in the entire world.  I am a stepaunt to a slew of precious children.  I am an Auntie to an energetic, smart, goofy little boy (my nephew, Roo).  I am a cousin to many, a niece to several, and a friend to all.
I am hopelessly in pursuit to love people like Christ loves them.  My goal in life is to simply embody the love that my Savior has for each person on the planet.  It’s a lofty goal and I fail many times at it daily, but I’ll never give up.
I am a self-proclaimed writer.  I most likely will never publish a book, but I love writing.  It is a passion, a compulsion, an escape.
I am a Red Wolf alum.  I attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  I was an Economics major with an emphasis in Pre-law.  I graduated in May 2013.
I am a Southern lady.  I have grown up in the countryside of Arkansas.  I love to shoot guns in the backyard, have picnics, climb trees, go horseback riding, and take walks through the woods.  I talk with an accent.  I see every new person as a new friend.  I talk too much.  I love to hug.  I wave at strangers as I drive down the road.   I say “bless your heart” and I mean it.
I am sometimes like a Northerner.  I love the city as much as I love the country.  I hate sweet tea.   I would rather have something baked than fried any day of the week.  I do not like country music, nor do I know any line dances.
I am a travel lover.  I love to travel.  I enjoy learning about new cultures.  I love to explore somewhere that is fantastically new and bustling with opportunity and potential.
I am a friend.  I love making new friends.  I love to learn the life of someone new and be invited to share in it.  I love inviting people to be a part of my life.  I cherish those that I can call true friends, those who offer just to be there and with you.  I consider friendship a beautiful piece of Heaven.
I am an encourager.  Well, at least I try to be.  I believe in the power of words, especially the power of a kind word.  A kind word of encouragement can launch someone into living up their potential.  I want to be that launchpad for others.
I am a young adult.  I’m 25 years old, with a birthday in January.  I still have a lot of life left to experience, God allowing.
I am a dreamer with a vision.   My dreams are easy:  figure out what to do professionally with my life, live out each day inspiring and helping others, love with all that I am, and live a life that is worthy of being called a co-heir with Christ.  I never want at the end of a day, week, year, or especially at the end of my life to think back and regret not doing something.   I believe to live your dreams, you have be up for letting them change.  I believe you have to take risks.  I believe you have to be able to accept failure and learn from it.  I believe you have to keep on dreaming no matter what.
I am a  ______.   I am constantly growing as a person, so I am sure a week, a month, a year, a decade from today I will know more of what and who I am.  I guess you will be on that journey of change and development with me as I record my thoughts and life experiences on my blog.

This is me.  I love Polo tees, smiling, writing, and Jesus.
